The three principles of environmental responsibility are reduce, reuse and recycle. In keeping with those concepts, since 2009 DataLink Computer Services has been reducing the amount of e-waste going to our landfills, reusing computer technology by providing the public with access through our retail store, and recycling end-of-life materials by responsibly distributing them to processors.
Items that can be recycled for free: ♦ computers, laptops, tablets and e-readers ♦ televisions and computer displays ♦ portable dvd players. We will also collect at no cost, the following items: ♦ tower, rack and blade servers ♦ processors and computer memory ♦ graphic cards, sound cards, network cards ♦ input devices (mice, keyboards, stylus, etc.) ♦ speakers and computer cables ♦ hard drives, dvd and blu-ray drives ♦ desktop and laptop power supplies ♦ game consoles and arcade games ♦ cellphones (any phone type). We may require a handling fee (see below) for large quantities of items which number ten or more or that are bulky or excessively heavy or which are from businesses with more than fifty employees.
