Terms of Service

CUSTOM-BUILT SYSTEM WARRENTY

  1. Custom-built systems have a 3-year labor warranty and a 1-year parts warranty. (3 years labor and 1 year parts warranty does not apply to any bare-bone, refurbished or elite systems.)
  2. This warranty is voided if the warranty tag is missing or damaged, or if the customer or a 3rd party has added other components to the system.
  3. This warranty does not cover conflicts or problems caused by software, viruses or the addition of new hardware to the system.

PARTS WARRENTY

  1. All defective products (except processors and memory) may be exchanged for up to 45-days for the same item. Processors and memory can be exchanged for up to 20-days for the same item.
  2. If the item is beyond our warranty, and if the item is covered by a manufacturer warranty, replacements will be covered by the terms of the manufacture. For instance, most monitors & motherboards possess 1 to 3 year warranties with their manufacturers and may take 2 to 6 days to replace.
  3. If the product for exchange is found to be non-defective by our technicians, a 15% restocking fee will be applied. The customer will also need to pay for return shipping of the item.
  4. If the product has been discontinued from our store, or we are not presently carrying the item, we may honor a return based on the last in-store value.
  5. All products for exchange must include the original DataLink Computer Services Store warranty tag (if applicable). Items with damaged or missing tags will be refused.

RETURNS

  1. To return a product, you must call our returns department within 5 business days after receiving the item. There is a 15% restocking fee on all returned items. Custom-built computer systems and service call sales are final (see warranty information below).
  2. A copy of the original invoice must be included with all returned shipments. Please also include a reason for the return.
  3. Returns are subject to the approval of a manager. We reserve the right to refuse any merchandise that is damaged, missing, or incomplete. This includes products that are not in their original boxes, or do not include packaging, software, registration cards, cables, or other material.
  4. All products for return must include the original DataLink Computer Services store warranty tag
    (if applicable). Items with damaged or missing tags will be refused.
  5. Items including, but not limited too are consumable items are not refundable.
  6. Shipping and transportation costs are not refundable.

SHIPPING

  1. DataLink Computer Services ships via FedEx Ground, FedEx Second Day and FedEx Priority Overnight. All orders require a 1 to 3 day processing period (1 to 7 days on custom-built systems).
  2. Tracking information will be posted on your account and emailed to you as soon as the items are ready to ship. The tracking number may not be valid immediately, please check back after 5:00pm.
  3. Drop Shipped orders are subject to approval and DataLink Computer Services reserves the right to require additional information from you prior to processing your order. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

PAYMENT & CREDIT LINES

  1. Due the number of scam email and texts that we have received lately; we no longer will accept credit cards from new customers for any online transaction over $200. We will of course accept verifiable secure forms of payments such as cashiers checks and money orders.
  2. We accept all major forms of credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), bank checks, cashiers checks. money orders, crypto-currency and of course we always accept cash (USD). A credit card usage fee of 3.4% will be applied to all credit card transactions. We also accept payments through PayPal, Google Wallet and Apple Pay. We currently do not accept PayPal payments due to their recent policy change regarding refunds. Check or COD orders are subject to approval.
  3. New business customers may apply for a line of credit up to $10,000. This requires us to conduct a credit worthiness check on your business prior to being approved.

NSF/RETURN CHECK AND LATE PAYMENT FEE’S

  1. All returned checks are subject to a $40.00 NSF fee.
  2. A 12% late payment fee may be applied dating back to the date of payment or date due.
  3. Payment is due upon completion of service or delivery of goods. A $15.00 surcharge will be applied to all accounts not paid upon the completion of the services render. Late payment fees will be applied to a customers balance after 20 days (excluding those on service contracts and/or leasing agreements).
  4. DataLink Computer Services may attempt to electronically debit your bank account for the face value of a returned check, which is allowed by federal and local laws.
  5. Criminal charges may be filed if you have accepted goods and/or service then stop payment on a check. Such actions are considered theft in most states.
  6. All delinquent accounts will be turned over to a collection agency no more than 90 days following the original payment date.
